Championships, seminars and test ceremonies


October 10, 2008

Congratulations to Mr. Joshua Cochrane for his outstanding performance in his Black Belt Test. Oriental Sorts Center feel very proud to present Mr. Cochrane as a Junior first Dan I.T.F. Black Belt. Well done Mr. Cochrane. The test took place in Elizabet City, North Carolina. 




Master Vega presented to Mr. Cochrane his Black Belt. Mr. Cochrane is officially Junior first degree black belt in I.T.F. Taekwon-do.




Our red belts and black belt. Dustin Dail (black belt), Joshua Krause, Garret Glover and Alex Matthes help Mr. Cochrane in his test. One hour physical test. Mr. Chris Dail (first on your left) black belt witness the test.




The Cochrane family feel very proud of Joshua. His father Jason, His mother Kim and his sister Meredith congratulated Joshua for his hard work. His mother and sister practice Taekwon-do as too.

Congratulations to Mr. Vidal Luciano and Mr. Julian Luciano for the outstanding  performance in their Black Belt Test. Mr. Jose Montero, the head Instructor in the Ocala Florida Taekwon-do Academy, feel very proud of his first two black belt students. His hard work and dedication as ITF instructor  deserve a big Congratulation from my part. Well Done Mr. Montero.

Charlotte North Carolina 2008 Championship

Our OSC Taekwon-do team won nineteen trophies. Ten members of the juniors team represent OSC in this outstanding mix martial arts championship. First Black Belt test and ceremony May 2008.

The Dail family are a taekown-do practitioners. Dustin, Wyatt, Jacob, Wesley and Christopher.


Seminar in Ocala Florida. 


Master Vega conducted a technical seminar in Ocala Florida on March 2008. Mr. Jose Montero is the head instructor of the Ocala Taekwon-do Academy. Mr. Montero and a group of his student work very intense for two days under Master Vega instructions. Special thank you to Mr. Montero, his students and the group of parents who participate in this seminar.

 International Championship Bayamon Puerto Rico  (November 2006)


In November 2006 Oriental Sports Center represented North Carolina U.S.A. for the first time in a well recognize International Championship in Puerto Rico. Master Orlando Vega brought four students to participate for the first time in a Teakwon-do championship. All four students came back to U.S.A. with four first places. This team only being practicing Taekwon-do for only six months. But the great dedication and hard work they became international champions. Congratulation to Chris, Jalen, Wyatt and Dustin. This is the first OSC International Champions.
